Saul Shulman, 77, passed away on October 17, 2026, at The Cedars in Portland, Maine. He was born in Lewiston, Maine to Morris and Adeline Shulman, and considered himself fortunate to have grown up there. A 1967 graduate of Lewiston High School, Saul attended Nasson College in Springvale, Maine, graduating in 1971 with a degree in Sociology.
Saul was a natural born salesman and followed in his father’s footsteps as a sales representative for over four decades. His work frequently took Saul to Bermuda, Iceland, and his sales territories within the US. He learned to enjoy traveling and spent many years maintaining homes in both Florida and Maine. Saul’s wonderful sense of humor helped him to make friends everywhere he went. For many years Saul enjoyed attending musical venues throughout greater Portland, where he made many acquaintances. He will be fondly remembered by all of his friends and by all who met him at these venues. His absence will be felt.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 20th, at Temple Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery, 1 Johnson Road in Portland.
